Overview
The Brett Project is located in south-central British Columbia, approximately 29 kilometers west of the city of Vernon, on the west side of Okanagan Lake. Significant gold mineralization has been outlined on this property.
The Brett Project was previously explored by Liquid Gold and Huntington Resources, along with their former mining contractor, Vicore Mine Development Limited. Ultimately, in a court settled dispute over outstanding payments, Vicore was awarded 100% ownership of the property. Exploration slowed to a halt on the Brett Project until Mosquito Consolidated obtained the property from Vicore in January 2003.
Currently Mosquito Consolidated holds 50% interest in the Brett Project and is negotiating a joint venture with its project partner, Running Fox Resources, whereby Mosquito Consolidated will become the initial project operator for as long as it maintains a 50% interest in the property.
